Cachets - Architecture

On 4 June 1979, the United States Postal Service released a four stamp set honoring architecture in the USA. Scott issued numbers 1779 through 1782 for the four stamps as follows: 1779 - Virginia Rotunda, by Thomas Jefferson, 1780 - Baltimore Cathedral, by Benjamin Latrobe, 1781 - Boston State House, by Charles Bulfinch, and 1782 - Philadelphia Exchange, by William Strickland.

The Kingdom Philatelic Association devised a cachet for the first day issue cover.
