refurbished prior to use on a vehicle. Price $500. PICTURE Many of the 1920's carburetors, especially those produced by Marvel, used heat risers. These have replaceable steel tubing inserts, generally of vary odd sizes. Pinholes in these tubes allow raw exhaust into the intake system, and cause a lean condition.
